PIRIOU STARTS BUILDING HULL OF NEW ‘BEL ESPOIR’

| PIRIOU started building the hull of the BEL ESPOIR in its shipyard in Concarneau (29-France). The keel laying ceremony took place on November 13th with the members of the association AMIS DE JEUDI-DIMANCHE (AJD). The building of this hull was awarded to PIRIOU in summer 2018. Following the industrialisation studies, the building of the hull started beginning of November. It will be delivered to AJD at the beginning of March 2019. Then all the outfittings will be completed at the AJD shipyard in Lannilis (France) using their technical means, know-how, skills and motivation, as they did for the Rara Avis –the other three-master of the association refitted between 1998 and 2002.
