PIRIOU NAVAL SERVICES (PNS), PIRIOU naval repair branch, launched on February 21st after several works months, the trawler ‘ARVORIG’, property of young shipowner Mikaël LE BRUN of Le Guilvinec.  Built in 1990, this 17.25 metres steel trawler benefitted from important refit works at the PNS Lorient site. Main modifications are:

–  The replacement of the cable drums and aluminium gantry in order to increase stability and improve seakeeping,

–  The reorganisation at tween deck to improve space and comfort when working or manoeuvring as well as the reorganisation of workstations to make circulation easier, reduce handling and process catches more quickly.

–   Installation of a livewell for langoustines, hold retrofitting

–   Hull works.
