PIRIOU NAVAL SERVICES already won a first contract in 2010 to service this fleet, especially including the replacement of the engines of the eight French Navy BE training ships to give them the potential required to complete their training missions.

This new maintenance contract referred to as BE19 is effective this month for a period of nine years-of which a firm phase of 4 years and 5 optional phases. PIRIOU will implement the various phases of this programme starting with a period of 18 months to upgrade the fleet followed by regular maintenance and scheduled maintenance- while ensuring the vessels’ availability.
